How to arrive

Options to access the village by car can be summarized into three:

• Mediterranean motorway (from Murcia): In the E-15 (N-344), take exit 479 Nijar - San Isidro - San Jose. Find signs indicating the name of the town, so following the same for 23 kms arrive in San Jose. Roundabouts always be caught except the front exit of the motorway

• Via Granada - Guadix: The A-92, continue towards Almeria to connect with the Mediterranean through a roundabout. They will take this route to Murcia to leave later in the exit 460 "The Alquián, Cabo de Gata, Retamar, El Toyo." About 3km of road leads to another roundabout which will link with the N 344 (double lane) which direction we will take Nijar-Murcia. Continue straight until the second roundabout turn right towards Cabo de Gata - San José. This road will fork at 8 km to a roundabout at the entrance to Ruescas that is perfectly stated, and from that point just follow the signs point to San Jose (approx. 16 km)

• Mediterranean motorway from Malaga: Follow I-15, direction Murcia, which circles the city of Almeria, to reach the exit 460 "The Alquián, Cabo de Gata, Retamar, El Toyo." From that point follow the same steps as in the previous case.

Can also be reached by regular bus line between San José and the train station (bus and train) Almeria every day.
